• Java Development:

Utilize Java programming language to build scalable and high-performance search components

Collaborate with the development team to integrate search capabilities seamlessly into the application architecture

• Search Platform Expertise:

Leverage expertise in search platforms such as Elasticsearch to implement efficient and effective search solutions

Stay updated on the latest advancements in search technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance

• Query Optimization:

Analyze and optimize search queries for improved efficiency and relevance

Work on enhancing the overall search experience for end-users by fine-tuning search parameters

• Data Indexing and Retrieval:

Implement and manage data indexing and retrieval mechanisms to ensure real-time and accurate search results

Collaborate with data engineers to design efficient data structures for search operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Java Developer with a focus on search platforms and ElasticSearch
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with search platforms like Elasticsearch and messaging systems like Kafka
• Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with Vector Databases
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
